Key Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with state practice acts, ensuring adherence to legal standards for physical therapy practice and supervision.
• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients to identify functional limitations and disabilities, followed by the development of customized rehabilitation plans.
• Provide detailed evaluation services that include reviewing patient history, performing specific assessments, and documenting the results for optimal treatment planning.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols that align with each patient's evaluation findings, while accommodating changes in their health status.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, adjusting treatment plans based on documented changes in patient conditions.
• Oversee discharge planning and follow-up care, maintaining meticulous documentation that encapsulates the patient's treatment trajectory and progress.
• Complete all required training for corporate and clinical standards, and ensure compliance with respective state, local, and federal regulations.
• Perform and document treatment interventions clearly, reflecting the necessity for physical therapy services as indicated in each patient's medical record.
• Engage in facility meetings and team initiatives focused on optimizing patient access to services and improving treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Willpower Physical Therapy, you will primarily serve clients with orthopedic conditions requiring rehabilitation. This includes patients recovering from surgery, injuries, or chronic conditions that affect their mobility. Our approach focuses on personalized care, taking into account the unique challenges faced by each patient in their home environment.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist through the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is required.
• Current certification in CPR is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

While two years of experience in outpatient orthopedics is required, candidates with experience in home care or community-based rehabilitation environments will be favored. Compensation and Benefits
