Position Overview

Trails Rehabilitation & Wellness Pro is actively seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our orthopedic care team at our rehabilitation facility located in Leesburg, Virginia. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, and is ideal for an individual who thrives in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. You will play a critical role in evaluating, treating, and improving the functional abilities of patients with musculoskeletal conditions.

Work Environment

Your work setting will be onsite at our well-equipped rehabilitation facility in Leesburg, Virginia. This environment is designed to support a comprehensive approach to patient care, featuring state-of-the-art equipment, a dedicated orthopedic unit, and a supportive team of healthcare professionals. We maintain a schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a structured yet dynamic work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with state practice laws and guidelines while overseeing the health and safety of the treatment process in alignment with the legal scope of practice.

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address their functional limitations and disabilities.

• Utilize a variety of assessment tools to gather relevant patient history and performance metrics, documenting findings and recommendations meticulously.

• Execute treatment protocols based on individual patient evaluations, adapting approaches as necessary based on efficacy and patient feedback.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care; recognize and document any significant changes in patient conditions.

• Complete detailed discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring continuity in patient progress and proper documentation of care initiatives.

• Participate in departmental meetings to address barriers to care access, supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives within the facility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Trails Rehabilitation & Wellness Pro, you will primarily serve patients dealing with orthopedic injuries and conditions. This includes a diverse demographic that encompasses post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal issues. Your expertise will empower these patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals, leading to improved quality of life and functional independence.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy educational program.

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.

• A minimum of two (2) years of outpatient orthopedic experience.

• Certification in CPR to ensure readiness in emergency situations.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience is required, additional experience in specialized therapeutic practices or advancements in rehabilitation technology will be considered a plus. Familiarity with electronic health record systems will enhance the efficiency of documentation processes within the facility.
