Trails Rehabilitation & Wellness Pro is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Ashburn, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations to assess patients' functional abilities and limitations, tailoring personalized treatment plans to address their unique needs.

• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols based on each patient's evaluation findings and ongoing progress, enhancing their rehabilitation journey.

• Consistently document patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to create a comprehensive care approach that optimizes patient outcomes.

• Maintain clear communication with patients and their families regarding treatment plans, expected outcomes, and any necessary modifications to care.

• Evaluate and manage cases where physical therapy is medically necessary, ensuring timely responses to any changes in patients' conditions.

• Participate in team meetings, contributing ideas to improve patient access and care processes while staying informed of current practice standards.

• Maintain ongoing professional development through corporate training and continuing education opportunities to stay abreast of current trends in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and conditions. You will lead their rehabilitation journey through hands-on treatments and functional exercises, empowering patients to regain their strength, mobility, and independence. Your expertise will be critical in creating and executing individualized therapy plans that facilitate optimal recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited educational institution is required.

• Active State licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) as per the Physical Therapy Examining Committee's requirements.

• A minimum of two (2) years of outpatient orthopedic experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of musculoskeletal conditions.

• Current CPR certification to ensure rapid response in emergency situations.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with advanced training in orthopedic rehabilitation techniques, familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, and experience with innovative therapeutic modalities will be considered at an advantage. Compensation and Benefits
