Corewell Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist for a full-time role within our esteemed rehabilitation facility located in Ashburn, Virginia. In this pivotal position, you will work closely with patients to restore their mobility and empower them to achieve their highest functional capabilities. Work Environment

The work setting is a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility equipped with advanced rehabilitation technologies and tools tailored to support orthopedic care. Our team comprises two skilled physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA) who work collaboratively to ensure every patient receives attentive and customized care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals, capabilities, and limitations, ensuring tailored treatment plans.
• Manage a caseload efficiently with an emphasis on providing individualized attention, seeing one patient per hour.
• Implement cost-effective therapeutic interventions focused on enhancing patients' mobility, range of motion, and overall physical performance.
• Develop and execute comprehensive care plans that incorporate various treatment modalities, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Design and promote personalized fitness and wellness programs to address specific patient needs and goals.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and treatment outcomes to ensure consistency and Quality Assurance.
• Evaluate patient responses to treatment, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal progress and outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, addressing any additional health concerns.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their recovery journey, fostering adherence to prescribed therapeutic and wellness activities.
• Advocate for a healthy lifestyle, enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination in patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on outpatient orthopedic cases, including post-operative patients, athletes, and individuals recovering from musculoskeletal injuries. Our diverse patient population allows for a rich variety of clinical challenges and opportunities to make a meaningful impact in their recovery processes.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the American Medical Association and the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Virginia.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of experience working as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred, enabling you to hit the ground running in our dynamic environment.

Compensation and Benefits
