Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations, reviewing patients' medical histories and performing specific assessments to establish personalized treatment plans aimed at restoring mobility and improving function.
• Effectively communicate evaluation findings and treatment plans to patients and their families, setting achievable goals collaboratively.
• Implement treatment protocols accurately using evidence-based practices while continuously adapting to the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Engage in interdisciplinary consultations with other healthcare practitioners to ensure comprehensive patient care by documenting changes in patient conditions and modifying treatment as necessary.
• Complete timely discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring meticulous documentation of various aspects of patient treatment, including evaluations, daily notes, and progress summaries.
• Manage time efficiently to meet productivity targets while keeping a well-organized schedule and actively contributing to marketing initiatives that promote our services.
• Foster a culture of teamwork and accountability by participating in department goals and complying with established regulations set forth by governing and accreditation bodies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus on a broad demographic, including individuals with chronic pain, injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and other conditions requiring physical therapy. Our patients come from various backgrounds, including athletes, seniors, and those recovering from surgeries, which will require you to be adaptable and culturally sensitive in your approach.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensure in the state of Virginia or the ability to obtain licensure prior to starting.
• American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building relationships with patients and the team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in outpatient physical therapy settings is highly preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and familiarity with various physical therapy modalities.

Compensation and Benefits
