Work Environment

You will work onsite in a state-of-the-art outpatient facility that fosters innovation and collaboration among healthcare professionals. The operating hours are conducive to a healthy work-life balance, with shifts scheduled from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' needs, crafting customized treatment plans that reflect their individual goals and circumstances.
• Deliver quality one-on-one care, ensuring each patient feels supported and understood throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to provide effective treatment options, including manual therapy and exercise prescription.
• Incorporate cost-efficient therapeutic techniques to enhance patient mobility while minimizing dependence on medications.
• Create comprehensive fitness and wellness programs tailored to improve patients' overall health and well-being.
• Apply evidence-based interventions that have been proven effective in promoting positive patient outcomes.
• Motivate and encourage patients, fostering a positive atmosphere that promotes adherence to treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and comprehensive treatment approaches.
• Regularly assess treatment effectiveness, adjusting care plans as necessary to meet evolving patient needs.
• Keep precise documentation of interventions, treatments, and patient progress in compliance with EMR standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve range from high-performance athletes seeking to optimize their physical function to community members undergoing rehabilitation following surgeries or injuries. Your ability to address the specific needs of various demographics—including age and activity level—will be critical in developing effective therapy regimens that facilitate recovery and enhance physical capabilities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Proven expertise in multiple manual therapy techniques, tailored exercise programs, and the latest physical therapy practices.
• Strong proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, with familiarity in software such as WebPT for accurate documentation.
• Awareness of current research and best practices in physical therapy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a sports medicine setting or outpatient rehabilitation practice is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing individualized care plans that achieve favorable patient outcomes.
• Prior experience with collaborative healthcare teams to streamline patient care and improve service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, depending on your experience and qualifications.
