RN Home Care Nurse

University Home Care Inc is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN home care nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes in Livonia and surrounding areas of MI. This role requires a detail-oriented professional committed to improving the health and well-being of individuals by delivering personalized and attentive care in a home setting.

Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes according to established care plans.
Assess patients' health status and develop individualized nursing interventions.
Monitor and document patient progress and communicate changes to healthcare providers and families.
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed.
Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication adherence, and health maintenance.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

Current and valid RN license in the state of Michigan.
Previous experience in home health nursing or related clinical experience preferred.
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
Reliable transportation for travel to patient homes within Livonia and surrounding areas.
