Harborview - Hobson Place Clinic has an outstanding opportunity for a Patient Services Specialist 2.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

Conveniently located in the north Beacon Hill neighborhood Harborviews Primary Care at Hobson Place Clinic offers comprehensive wellness care and treatment for acute and chronic illnesses for those over the age of 18. We emphasize engaging the unhoused those living in shelters or in supportive housing in primary care but are open to all community members for care.

Our clinic is supported by a team of professionals with expertise in social work chemical dependency nutrition podiatry clinical pharmacy and patient education. We are in collaboration with Seattles Downtown Emergency Service Center who provide on-site mental health care and case management services for enrolled patients.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing staff providers and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications including phone answering and call triaging

• Scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments

• Obtaining patient demographic financial and clinical information

• Partnering with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery

• Other duties as requested

REQUIREMENTS

• High school graduation or equivalent

• AND

• One year of healthcare administrative or customer service experience

• OR

• An equivalent combination of education/experience

• Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements such as a license certification and/or registration
