Job Description CNBC is looking for an experienced Producer to be responsible for creating, producing, and supervising segments. In this role, you will be an integral part of covering the most significant financial news stories of the day. This position is on the show “Fast Money.” This producer will also be a key contributor in the weekly TV & Digital production of “ETF Edge.” Responsibilities: Assist in the editorial vision of the show each day, including suggesting stories and guests for the show Write and produce segments Work closely with EP, Sr. Producer & Anchor on stories & bookings. Ability to work with desk & across departments on show logistics & segment execution Become involved in planning process Be in control room for live broadcast Work with EP & Sr. Producer on social media efforts. Salary range: $90,000-$115,000. Qualifications What you'll bring: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 6 years of Editorial experience in a fast-paced newsroom environment, ability to anticipate and respond quickly to change Strong understanding of the markets and prior experience at a financial news network Experience working with anchors & senior management on shows and across departments. Desired Qualifications: Possess ability to develop story ideas, research, and plan segments. Sound journalistic judgment.
