Key Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient assessments, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and crafting dedicated care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses either independently or in collaboration with medical doctors as per credentialing
• Providing patient and family education focused on prevention, wellness, and effective disease management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapeutic interventions within the defined scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care needs

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) required
• Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Needed

• A valid Nurse Practitioner license from the state of Arkansas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or its specialty counterpart
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
