Copywriter IV Culver City, CA Full-time, 1-year, On-Going Contract, W2 Monday - Friday, Hybrid $77.00 per hour Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the near future. Job Description Key Responsibilities Communicate with internal and external customers to achieve the best possible product presentation. Read and analyze technical information for new and existing products to develop catalog and online content. Observe, examine, and use products when possible, to gain a thorough understanding. Attend catalog and internet production meetings and take detailed notes on products and processes. Write product copy for assigned catalog pages and online platforms. Adapt copy to meet customer, marketing, and management objectives. Track assigned pages throughout the catalog production process and monitor product content online. Create additional written materials including news releases, response letters, interviews, instruction manuals, and departmental communications. Maintain product files and current reference materials. Proofread, edit, and verify copy for accuracy. Assist team members and support various administrative tasks as needed. Ensure copy complies with trademark, country-of-origin, and material construction requirements. Requirements 10+ years of professional writing experience. Experience creating advertising, marketing, product, or related content. Ability to analyze and interpret technical and product-related information. Experience writing for multiple audiences and communication channels. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to conform content to established style guides and formatting requirements. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to accept and apply constructive feedback. Preferred Qualifications Experience writing advertising copy or content in a related field. Experience working with internet-based content and e-commerce platforms. Experience supporting catalog production or product-focused marketing initiatives. Experience writing documentation such as instruction manuals and informational materials.
