Sales Representative - Eugene Territory

About the role
We're hiring a Sales Representative for our Eugene territory. This is an established book of business, and we're looking for someone to keep it healthy and grow it — going deeper in the accounts we already have while bringing on new ones as we are a small company this is key to make it viable for you and the company. You'll report to the Sales Manager but run your days yourself. So self motivated a must.

What you'll do
Own and grow an established Eugene/Corvalis territory, its key to a open new accounts.
Potential to add the McMinnville/Newburg/Salem territory for the right hire.
Build durable relationships with new and existing customers across on-premise and off-premise accounts
Service accounts in person daily, with regular driving and time on your feet, knowing the account landscape is key
Plan, prepare, and execute monthly sales and distribution goals
Present our portfolio persuasively — tastings, staff trainings, list and shelf placements
Build displays and merchandise product as requested by accounts

What we're looking for
Wine wholesale experience would be great but retail or restaurant experience is fine
Strong wine knowledge and the appetite to learn over a dozen portfolio's fast
Comfort selling into both retail, grocery, and restaurants
Excellent self-management — organized scheduling and very key to disciplined follow-through
Ability to work independently and take direction from the Sales Manager
Willingness to pivot when something comes up.
Strong written and verbal communication, and real skill presenting to a room
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, and capacity to learn new software’s as needed.

Requirements
Resides in the Eugene area
Valid Oregon driver's license
Reliable vehicle and proof of auto insurance
Valid OLCC Service Permit, or ability to obtain one before your start date

Physical requirements
Daily driving with frequent entry and exit from a vehicle. Walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and occasional climbing. Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. Display
