They are seeking an Account Manager to join their team and build strong, long-term relationships with trade professionals throughout the Jacksonville market. This is an inside sales opportunity focused heavily on relationship building, business development, customer engagement, and account growth. Unlike a traditional retail sales environment, this role works directly with professional customers and their businesses. Position Overview The Account Manager will be responsible for developing relationships with existing customers while proactively identifying and converting new business opportunities. You will learn about each customer's business, understand their goals and upcoming projects, and connect them with products and solutions that can help them grow. The ideal candidate is personable, motivated, curious, and comfortable taking ownership of their sales results. This is a team-oriented environment that provides training, resources, and industry expertise to help you succeed. Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with existing trade professional customers and their clients Proactively prospect and develop new business with contractors, designers, remodelers, and other industry professionals Educate prospective customers on available products, services, and membership benefits Learn about each customer's business, growth objectives, projects, and purchasing needs to identify opportunities for partnership Identify ways to help customers improve their businesses and gain a competitive advantage Deliver a high level of customer service throughout the sales process Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with current and prospective customers Stay current on flooring, cabinetry, interior finishes, remodeling trends, and other relevant industry developments Participate in product training, vendor presentations, and industry events to expand product knowledge Maintain accurate customer and prospect information within the CRM Consistently work toward and exceed individual sales and business development goals Partner closely with the showroom and internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience Qualifications Previous experience in inside sales, account management, business development, customer service, or a related field preferred Wholesale sales experience or experience in flooring, kitchen and bath, remodeling, building materials, or interior finishes is a plus Strong customer service and presentation skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Confident, personable, and comfortable developing professional relationships Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and desire to achieve goals Ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products or solutions Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Comfortable using technology, mobile devices, applications, CRM systems, and internet-based tools Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team Why Join?
