### Bilingual Terminal Manager — El Paso, TX

**$60,000–$75,000 per year + Bonus Opportunity**

**Full-Time | Dry Van Truckload Transportation**

Danny Herman Trucking is seeking an experienced, hands-on **Bilingual Terminal Manager (English/Spanish)** to oversee daily trucking operations at our El Paso, Texas terminal.

This position supports approximately 40 trucks per day within an established dry van trucking operation with a broader fleet of approximately 500 trucks.

The Terminal Manager will coordinate daily freight operations, support drivers, oversee equipment availability, monitor service performance and help maintain efficient, safe and dependable terminal operations.

The ideal candidate combines practical trucking operations knowledge with strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

### Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily terminal activity supporting approximately 40 trucks.
• Coordinate dispatch, driver assignments, freight movements and equipment availability.
• Monitor on-time pickups and deliveries, service failures and operational performance.
• Lead and support drivers operating through the terminal.
• Communicate fluently in English and Spanish with drivers, dispatch and operational teams.
• Coordinate with maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Work with dispatch, brokerage, safety, maintenance and corporate operations.
• Monitor productivity, operating expenses, equipment utilization and service quality.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and control costs.
• Maintain compliance with applicable DOT regulations, company policies and safety procedures.
• Resolve daily operational issues involving delays, equipment, driver concerns and customer-service exceptions.
• Maintain accurate operational records and reports.
• Promote accountability, teamwork and a strong safety culture.

### Required Qualifications

• Fluent English and Spanish, including effective verbal communication in both languages.
• Experience in trucking, transportation or truckload operations.
• Previous supervisory or management experience in terminal operations, dispatch or a comparable transportation environment.
• Working knowledge of dispatch operations, driver management, equipment utilization and DOT compliance.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced transportation operation.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems, dispatch software and standard office applications.
• Ability to work flexible hours as operational needs require.

### Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with a dry van truckload carrier.
• Experience supervising an operation involving approximately 30–50 trucks.
• Knowledge of fleet productivity, operating costs and transportation service metrics.
• Experience coordinating multiple departments within a larger transportation company.

### Compensation and Opportunity
