MEP Superintendent

MEP Construction Superintendent Lead Essential Building Systems Projects Across the Five Boroughs Responsibilities Oversee daily field operations and ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and local codes. Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and field labor. Maintain project schedules and communicate any field issues or design conflicts to the project team. Enforce site safety standards and quality control procedures. Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations. Lead subcontractor meetings and coordinate project activities. Maintain daily logs, project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and timesheets. Monitor multiple job sites and ensure deficiencies are corrected promptly. Assist with project planning, trade evaluations, closeout documentation, and post-occupancy repairs. Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and professional. Qualifications 5+ years of commercial construction experience. Prior field experience in plumbing, heating, HVAC, or MEP construction. Strong understanding of heating systems and construction trades. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents. Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating field activities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and mobile applications. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with NYCHA projects. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Experience with HVAC controls, boiler/chiller systems, or building automation systems.
