Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health challenges and craft tailored treatment plans that address their unique needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapy techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to individuals, families, and groups targeting a variety of mental health issues.

• Collaborate with psychotherapists, psychiatrists, and support staff to ensure that clients receive holistic care that aligns with their treatment objectives.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, demonstrating expertise and empathy to assist clients in acute distress while following best practices.

• Engage in community outreach initiatives aimed at raising awareness about mental health issues, further expanding the reach of our services and educating the public.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will predominantly involve engaging with a very diverse clientele, including individuals with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, and various other mental health challenges. You will have the opportunity to work closely with clients from different ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds, enhancing your cultural competence and adapting therapeutic approaches that resonate with each individual’s experience.

Qualifications\n

• Possess a current and valid independent license in California as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Hold a master's degree or doctoral degree in a related field, such as Social Work, Psychology, or Mental Health Counseling.

• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with a diverse range of clients.

• Exhibit cultural sensitivity and awareness to communicate effectively with clients from various backgrounds.

• Organizational skills and time management are crucial to maintain thorough documentation and comply with ethical standards in the practice.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
