Split your expertise between Lake Forest Elementary (3-4 days per week) and Woodmont Middle School (1-2 days per week), ensuring a varied and rewarding workweek. The district is known for providing comprehensive resources, including your own SLP mentor, hands-on system training, robust material provisions, and a multi-tiered support system tailored specifically for speech-language professionals.

Key Qualifications:

• Active SC Speech-Language Pathologist license and SC Educator Certification required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
• Previous experience in school-based settings is highly desirable
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• District may consider Clinical Fellows (SLP-CFs), but cannot accommodate SLPAs due to supervision structure

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to a diverse student population
• Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and document progress
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
• Participate in pre- and post-year planning as needed
