Skilled SLPs are needed to provide services to students at both an elementary and a middle school for the upcoming academic year. You’ll spend the majority of your week at a welcoming elementary campus, with additional days at a vibrant middle school, engaging with students from diverse backgrounds and developmental stages.

The school district is known for its exceptional support network, offering a personal mentor for SLPs, thorough system training, ample resources, and a collaborative, multi-level structure designed for ongoing professional growth and success. Set within a district that highly values its therapists, this full-time role runs on a 37.5-hour week from mid-August to late May, with likely additional pre- and post-planning days, giving you a chance to fully integrate into the school community.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• CCC-SLP certification strongly preferred
• Valid South Carolina SLP license AND South Carolina Educator Certification
• Previous experience working in schools is preferred
• SLP-CFs may be considered pending support availability; SLPAs are not eligible at this time

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in elementary and middle school settings
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
• Collaborate with faculty, parents, and district staff to support student success
• Engage in ongoing school and district trainings and meetings
