Make a difference in the lives of students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)! This rewarding contract opportunity offers the chance to support children and adolescents with communication needs in a busy school setting near Columbus, IN. Whether you hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), are in your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or bring school or pediatric experience as an SLPA, your expertise will make a vital impact.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Indiana licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP or SLPA
• Experience with school-aged children or pediatric populations is valued
• Open to SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, and experienced SLPAs
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and implement effective therapy plans in a school context
• Comfortable working with diverse student backgrounds and needs
Primary Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and deliver therapy to support students’ speech and language development
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff
• Maintain accurate records and progress documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized education planning
• Adapt interventions for a variety of student needs, using evidence-based practices
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
