Senior Lease & Fixed Asset Accountant

Our client is hiring a Senior Lease & Fixed Asset Accountant for an 11-month hybrid contract opportunity. This is a highly visible role supporting a global finance organization during a period of operational transformation and process optimization. The position offers the opportunity to help shape scalable accounting workflows, partner with stakeholders across multiple regions, and contribute to initiatives that enhance financial governance and efficiency. The ideal candidate brings a strong corporate accounting foundation, experience working in complex international environments, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving organization. Role Overview:
• Contract Role: 11 months
• Pay: $90-96/hr W2 (No C2C or 1099)
• Schedule: Hybrid, 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
Responsibilities:
• Support lease and fixed asset accounting activities, including journal entries, depreciation, disposals, and reconciliations
• Assist with process transitions, documentation, and global control execution for the Center of Excellence
• Maintain and review lease accounting data while partnering with cross-functional teams
• Support month-end close, financial reporting, and analysis of lease and fixed asset transactions
• Contribute to finance transformation projects and process improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
• Experience with SAP S/4, SAC, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX compliance, and global finance operations
• Understanding of end-to-end accounting processes and collaboration with global teams
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with a focus on accuracy, process improvement, and automation
