Investment Banking Analyst, Media - New York City

Job Description We are currently seeking an experienced Analyst to join our Media financial advisory practice in New York City. Responsibilities Financial analysis and modeling Company and industry research Preparing client presentations and interacting with senior bankers and clients Support senior managers in origination activities, including preparing historical and projected financial statements, analyzing financial implications of mergers and acquisitions, and conducting public and private valuation analysis for major corporations Involved in execution activities: data gathering, analysis, material preparation, and managing standard processes such as preparing deal documentation Build and apply valuation models based on financial research and analysis, including comparable company analysis, discounted cash flow analysis, and comparable acquisitions analysis Prepare analytical materials to support credit, compliance, engagement committee, and balance sheet approvals Conduct corporate operations reviews, portfolio analytic reviews, and prepare risk/return valuations Gather and process market share data and shareholder and investor profiles Required Skills & Experience Results‑driven and able to perform well under pressure and tight deadlines Strong analytical and numerical skills with comfort working with financial data Team player able to interact effectively with internal groups and clients Strong multi‑tasking skills Strong Microsoft Office (Excel) and financial reporting skills Undergraduate degree, preferably in finance, business, accounting, economics, or mathematics Compensation Expected salary range: $110,000 - $135,000 Equal Opportunity Employer We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
