Embark on a rewarding career as a school-based Occupational Therapist, supporting students in diverse educational environments near Aurora, IL. This contract opportunity provides the chance to work across four unique school settings—two elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school—giving you rich exposure to a broad range of age groups and needs.

This role is structured around minutes rather than individual student counts, offering a manageable, clearly outlined caseload totaling 8,000-9,000 service minutes per quarter. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through May 25, 2027, providing a stable and long-term placement.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and current Occupational Therapist license (please include your license number in your application).
• Experience or strong interest in delivering OT services within K-12 educational settings.
• Comfortable working in person across multiple schools.
• Professional with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to the varied demands of elementary, middle, and high school populations.

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to students as outlined in IEPs.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ functional participation in educational activities.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of service minutes and progress.
• Adapt therapy plans to meet the changing needs of students in different age ranges.
• Travel between assigned schools as required.

This is a 35-hour-per-week position, structured over a seven-hour workday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. The role requires a dynamic and flexible professional eager to make a meaningful impact throughout the school year.
