Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM Hunt is seeking a Construction Project Engineer in Tampa, FL, Orlando, FL and/or Gainesville, GAThis position is expected to start immediately. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Assisting the Project Management team by overseeing construction administration tasksPreparing subcontractor reports as needed to keep Supervisor and Client informed of ongoing progressParticipating in site visits. Coordinating and assisting superintendent as requiredReceiving, reviewing and submitting documents for approval (Submittals/ RFIs/ etc.)Assisting project manager costs and scheduling to ensure completion of project within budget and in conformance with contractWorking with document control systems, project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurateAttending meetings and reporting on project tasks as needed.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or other related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationPreferred Qualifications:Previous internship experience in construction managementProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Additional InformationRemote option is not availableRelocation assistance is not available for this positionSponsorship for work authorization is not available now or in the future for this positionQualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
