Senior Associate / Junior Partner - Corporate M&A (Sports, Media & Entertainment) Location: New York City, NY Experience: 7+ Years PQE | Private Equity & M&A Focus | Industry-Specific Deal Experience A prestigious Am Law 100 firm is seeking a Senior Associate or Junior Partner (7+ years PQE) with extensive experience in private equity and M&A transactions to join its New York office. This is a high-impact, front-facing role advising marquee clients across the sports, media, and entertainment industries, with a clear path to leadership. About The Team Work within a recognized market-leading practice focused on cutting-edge, high-profile deals involving premier brands, athletes, media groups, and entertainment companies. The team operates in leanly staffed deal structures, offering autonomy, early partner collaboration, and direct access to the firm’s blue-chip client base. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise complex M&A and private equity transactions from term sheet to closing Manage deal teams and mentor junior and midlevel associates Negotiate and draft purchase agreements, joint ventures, and investor documents Advise institutional and client, including private equity firms and high-net-worth individuals Support client growth in the sports, media, and entertainment sectors Who You Are 7+ years of corporate transactional experience (senior associate or junior partner level) Demonstrated leadership on leanly staffed deal teams Strong track record in private equity and complex M&A deals Familiarity with or interest in the sports, media, and entertainment sectors Excellent drafting, analytical, and team management skills JD from a top-tier law school with strong academic credentials Member of the New York Bar (or eligible to waive in) Compensation Salary Range: $320,000 - $400,000 base (DOE) Bonus: Performance- and business-development-based bonus opportunities ranging from $10,000 to $200,000+ Benefits: Full suite of medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), paid parental leave, wellness benefits, hybrid flexibility, and more #J-18808-Ljbffr The People Of: Professional Services
