About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Operations to provide strategic leadership and financial oversight for its day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the Maintenance, Custodial, and Health & Safety departments, ensuring that facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in alignment with the company's mission and values. This role involves asset inventory management, maintenance planning, departmental staffing, and the coordination of daily operational activities. The VP of Operations will also be tasked with recruiting, developing, and leading high-performing teams, as well as collaborating with the CEO on operational vision and strategy. Applicants for the VP of Operations position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in operations, business, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years' of progressively responsible operations or leadership experience. A Master's degree in a related field is a plus. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in financial management, the ability to monitor key financial indicators, and experience in implementing corrective actions. The VP of Operations will also be expected to maintain professional partnerships with government and private agencies, provide quarterly operational reports, and support major events and conferences.
