Senior Attorney – Post‑Conviction & Integrity Work
Orlando, Hybrid
A respected criminal‑justice organization is seeking a senior attorney to lead its post‑conviction review and integrity efforts. This role oversees complex case evaluations, supervises a small team, and drives policy improvements aimed at ensuring fairness and accuracy in criminal outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Lead post‑conviction case review and integrity initiatives
- Oversee investigations involving innocence claims, new evidence, and constitutional issues
- Handle litigation including evidentiary hearings and appellate matters
- Collaborate with defense counsel, experts, and community partners
- Develop policies, training, and best practices to strengthen ethical prosecution
What We’re Looking For
- 8–10+ years of criminal law experience
- Strong trial and/or appellate background
- Experience with post‑conviction litigation preferred
- Deep knowledge of constitutional law, criminal procedure, and Brady/Giglio
- Strong judgment, integrity, and commitment to justice
- Member in Good Standing of the Florida Bar
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience
