PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN

The Production Technician is responsible for the efficient handling, organizing, and movement of materials within the facility. Key duties include receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products, ensuring inventory accuracy, assisting with smalls parts assembly, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.Essential Duties:Conduct self-professionally with truth, accuracy, fairness, and responsibility.Uphold the Core Values and Code of Conduct of the organization and commits to these standards in daily practice.Foster and support a person-centered organization and environment.Assemble baby bottle components according to customer specifications, ensuring that all parts are handled with care to maintain cleanliness to ensure product safety and durability.Assemble tethers accurately, following detailed instructions.Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the clean room, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment regularly to comply with cleanliness and safety standards.Transport and clean pallets in the designated washroom, following outlined cleaning procedures to ensure all items are sanitized properly before transport.Clean and sanitize barrels.Complete activity sheets daily reporting accurate production counts.Inspect barrels for any residue or contaminants to ensure that hygiene requirements are met.Inspect assembled products for defects, ensuring that all items meet quality and safety guidelines before packaging or storage.Monitor supplies for assembly and cleaning.Clean workstation and work area on a regular consistent basis.Report assembly counts, defects, and cleaning logs accurately, maintaining detailed records to support quality assurance and traceability.Follow all safety and sanitation protocols, particularly in clean rooms and washrooms, and report any hazards or issues to supervisors.Clean and perform basic maintenance on assembly tools and cleaning equipment to ensure they remain in good working condition.Assist with any DSP duties as required.Conduct medication passes in the absence of a Program Coordinator.Other duties as assigned.Required Skills and Abilities:Understanding of quality standards and safety guidelines, with the ability to inspect assembled products meticulously to meet organizational standards.Ability to maintain a clean, sterile workspace.Ability to keep workspace and tools organized, ensuring efficiency and adherence to cleanliness protocols.Manual dexterity for assembling small components.Physical ability to transport and clean equipment.Ability to accurately log assembly counts, cleaning procedures, and defects to support quality assurance and traceability efforts.Ability to be proactive in identifying and reporting hazards.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to contribute to a person-centered environment and collaborate with team members.Strong attention to detail.Working Conditions:Works in a clean, well-lit facility.May be subject to extremes in temperature and noise.Physical Requirements:Ability to handle small parts and assemble components accurately and efficiently.Ability to stand or remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.Capability to lift, carry, or transport items such as pallets, barrels, or other materials as needed, potentially lifting up to 30-50 lbs.Ability to perform repetitive movements, like bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting.Precise coordination to manage assembly tasks and inspect small items for quality and cleanliness.Flexibility to move between various tasks, including assembling, sanitizing equipment, and transporting materials to designated areas.Ability to inspect components, identify contaminants, and verify that all assembly standards are met.Preferred Minimum Qualifications (The following statements represent the minimum experience and training standards which will be used to screen applicants, provided that equivalent substitutions will be permitted in case of deficiencies in either experience or education.)High school diploma or general education degree (GED).Must be at least 18 years of age.Experience working with people who have intellectual/developmental disabilities is preferred.Must have a valid operator’s license to drive/operate a Fork Truck.Must have and maintain an acceptable driving record (i.e., less than 3 moving violations within 3 years.)Good computer, oral and written communication skills.Maintains certification for first aid/CPR, and Core A and B for medication administration.Completion of crisis intervention MANDT training upon hire.Regular attendance is an essential function of the job. #J-18808-Ljbffr Arc-of-Evansville
