Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–3:30 PM

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Position Overview

Rent Anytime Storage is seeking a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused Office Associate to assist with the daily operations of our self-storage facility in Stuarts Draft, Virginia.

This is a hands-on position that combines office administration, customer service, and general property upkeep. We are looking for someone who is organized, takes initiative, works well independently, and is comfortable performing both administrative and physical tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Office Administration & Customer Service

• Greet and assist customers with rentals, reservations, payments, and general inquiries.

• Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and text messages professionally.
\n
• Prepare rental agreements and assist with move-ins and move-outs.
\n
• Process payments and maintain accurate customer accounts.
\n
• Monitor delinquent accounts and follow established collection procedures.
\n
• Maintain accurate records using facility management software.
\n
• Communicate customer concerns and operational issues to management.
\n

Facility Maintenance & Property Upkeep

\n
• Perform routine property walk-throughs and inspections.
\n
• Clean and prepare vacant storage units for new rentals.
\n
• Sweep units, remove minor debris, and maintain general cleanliness throughout the property.
\n
• Remove storage unit locks using approved tools and procedures, with proper authorization.
\n
• Assist with placing and removing overlocks as directed.
\n
• Identify and report maintenance concerns, security issues, or property damage.
\n
• Assist with general facility upkeep and other hands-on tasks as needed.
\n

Emergency & Operational Support

• Respond to occasional urgent facility situations outside regular office hours when required.
\n
• Communicate promptly with management regarding emergencies, security concerns, or maintenance issues.
\n
• Assist with resolving unexpected facility issues according to established procedures.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• Previous customer service or office experience preferred.
\n
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Comfortable using computers, email, and office software.
\n
• Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities without constant supervision.
\n
• Willingness and ability to perform physical tasks, including walking the property, cleaning units, bending, lifting, and using basic tools.
\n
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
\n
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
\n
• Ability to follow established safety procedures and company policies.
\n

Schedule & Availability

Regular office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Consistent availability during these hours is required. Occasional availability outside regular office hours may be necessary for urgent facility-related situations.
