Neuro ICU/IMCU RN - Night Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Neuro ICU/IMCU Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift position. This role includes providing care in both the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and step down unit (IMCU), with the possibility of floating between the two areas. The nurse will be responsible for managing patients with neurological conditions and must possess strong experience in this specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in Neuro ICU and IMCU.
• Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Neuro ICU or related specialty.
• Valid RN license and certification card.
• Nursys License Verification required.
• Work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days.
• References from previous employers in a nursing capacity.
• Skills checklist demonstrating competency in required nursing skills.

Schedule

This position is for a night shift, specifically a 12-hour shift schedule (3 nights per week).
