KSA's/Required Qualifications KSAs: This position conducts thorough criminal investigations and background investigations, investigates suspected criminal activity, and investigates other complaints. Ensures security for College and personal property at the College through crime prevention activities and patrol. Ensure safety of the community through the enforcement of State laws and College regulations. This is accomplished by patrol efforts, by possible shift rotation, by interacting with the public in a fair and impartial manner regardless of situation, and by enforcing the laws and regulations through use of the same police powers as found in all other police departments in cities, towns, and counties in the Commonwealth. Must be able to pass a fingerprint-based criminal background check. Additional Considerations Experience investigating sexual assault cases. Experience in crime scene processing. Experience with the Jeanne Clery Act. Experience in a campus police setting.
