Medical Transcriptionist

Offering a part-time PRN opportunity, the Medical Transcriptionist will transcribe surgical pathology cases, ensure accurate data entry into the laboratory information system, and maintain patient confidentiality while working remotely. Key responsibilities: Transcribe and dictate medical reports and summaries from healthcare providers Accurately enter dictated and handwritten pathology cases into the laboratory information system Review transcription documents for quality assurance and implement corrective actions as needed Required qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent 3 years or more of medical transcriptionist experience Prior experience with transcriptionist software Proficient in Microsoft Office Strong typing and data entry skills
