Associate Manufacturing EngineerCompany:Boeing Aerospace OperationsBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is currently seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer to become part of the Executive Transportation Production Engineering team in San Antonio, TX.Position Responsibilities:Develop and implement production and tooling methodologiesParticipate as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the integration of technical solutionsAssists with the implementation of manufacturing plansCo-author the development, identification and implementation of conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for the buildResolve technical problems and assist in the implementation of new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and conceptsParticipates in the implementation of Lean principles and technologiesWork with professional associations, suppliers, IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experienceThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in San Antonio, TX.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret and a Yankee White Clearance Post-Start, Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement2+ years of experience related to product development (configuration management, design, integration, quality, etc.)2+ years of experience researching and implementing new technologies and innovative practices in manufacturing processes, with a focus on enhancing efficiency and quality in aerospace productionPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 2+ years of experience performing work per written documentation/authorities and knowledge of how release authority works2+ years of experience in a Manufacturing environment as quality, manufacturing engineering or manufacturing2+ years of experience working with multi-functional teams/organizations2+ years of experience with data analysis and / or process improvementsExperience with the following software: CAPP (MeSci), GoldEsp, REDARS-EID, IVT, WIRS, CATIA, ENOVIA, Proficient in Microsoft Office SuiteRelocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
