Description What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and complex clinical lab testscovering areas such as chemistry, hematology, and immunologywhile adhering to set protocols and standards.
• Evaluate test outcomes for reliability and accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and carry out regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist with specimen procurement and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or trainees, and contribute to maintaining quality control in the lab.
• Ensure a safe, clean work atmosphere and comply with relevant regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree alongside preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be acquired within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification throughout your employment.
