For students, for future generations, for the future of education.Employer: SMB IT, Inc.Job Title: Senior Engineer IIJob Location: 300 Continental Drive, Newark, DE 19713Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-FridayDuties:Responsible for driving critical technical initiatives and contributing significantly to system design and implementation.Design, build, and maintain scalable systems, services, or infrastructure components.Make architectural decisions with long-term impact.Take ownership of features and projects end-to-end.Lead cross-functional technical initiatives with minimal oversight.Conduct code reviews with an emphasis on quality, performance, and maintainability.Tackle complex, ambiguous technical challenges with structured thinking and pragmatic solutions.Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver thoughtful and impactful solutions.Hybrid work permitted up to 3 days per week within a reasonable commuting distance of Newark, Delaware.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Technologies-Management and Management Information Systems, or related field of study and five (5) years of experience as a System Engineer, Planning Engineer, Business Analyst, or related role where required experience was gained.
