Description - Your Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-following established protocols.
• Examine results for precision, diagnose inconsistencies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist with sample collection and prepare specimens for testing as required.
• Keep meticulous records of all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and maintain the lab's quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, secure work environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout employment.
