About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS Required Must-Have: 1 year of experience preferred. Experience with Patient Ratios of 1:6 is required. Experience with Epic charting system is required. Description: The position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience. First-time travelers are accepted. The patient population includes adults to geriatrics. Staffing ratio is 1 nurse to 6 patients. Floating within the facility/scope of practice may be required. Travelers are expected to work on holidays as specified. If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays fall in the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. The major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. Full compliance is required to start on time. If compliance is not met, there may be a delay of 2 weeks due to orientation scheduling. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. Non-billable orientation hours are determined by contract length. Compliance documentation is required prior to the start date.
