Take the next step in your Speech-Language Pathology career by working with a diverse K-8 population in a school-based, contract position located near Cambridge, MA. This rewarding opportunity is ideal for professionals committed to making a difference in the communication skills and academic success of students. The assignment begins as soon as possible, continuing through June 2027 (per the final school calendar), with a consistent schedule of 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active Massachusetts SLP-CCC certification.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish required.
- Experience in school settings, healthcare, pediatrics, teletherapy, SLP-CFY, and supporting SLPAs are highly valued.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students in kindergarten through 8th grade.
- Passion for fostering student growth and advocacy within diverse communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to K-8 students.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and document progress.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs.
- Utilize technology and teletherapy platforms as appropriate for service delivery.
- Mentor or provide guidance to Clinical Fellows (CFY) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as needed.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records in accordance with school and legal guidelines.
