Step into an impactful role serving K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school setting near Dorchester, MA. This contract opportunity allows you to make a meaningful difference, working collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team to support students' communication and academic success. From evaluation to treatment, your expertise will enhance students’ ability to learn and participate fully in their educational environment.
Qualifications:
- Active and valid SLP license in Massachusetts
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Pediatric experience (preferred), especially within educational or healthcare environments
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic interventions and IEP documentation
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including IEP goals and documentation
- Provide direct therapy services in group and individual settings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to maximize student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to professional development
- Maintain detailed, compliant records in accordance with state and school policies
