Job DescriptionJob Summary:Mercury Systems is seeking the best and brightest talent to help us bring cutting edge technology to mission critical aerospace and defense applications, advancing innovation where it matters most. The Engineering team is seeking an RF engineer who will provide technical leadership to resolve issues that may arise during assembly, production testing, and integration of complex RF/Microwave products. The ideal engineer will demonstrate strong cross-functional collaboration skills, while working effectively with program management, operations, supply chain, and quality teams to support the objectives of a high-impact defense program.Job Responsibilities:Perform hands-on product troubleshooting in manufacturing and development environmentsWork with engineers and technicians for offline asset reductionAssist with ongoing engineering development projects and product initiativesSupport definition and implementation of producibility improvements Work with Lead Engineers on design updatesCollaborate and effectively communicate with cross-functional product teamsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldTypically requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in High Reliability, Aerospace, or Defense Electronics product development and manufacturingStrong problem-solving skills within fast-paced environments, with a proven ability to collaborate and thrive in team-oriented settingsBroad experience with RF/Microwave test equipment to test/troubleshoot RF/Microwave, analog, digital, and mixed signal circuits at the module and component levelAbility to balance multiple and sometimes conflicting prioritiesActive Clearance required on day onePreferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldSystem level troubleshooting for digital, analog, and power circuitsTransfer to production of new or existing designsFamiliar with FPGA and Programmable Logic designExperience using data analysis tools such as MATLAB and simulation software (Microwave Office, ADS, HFSS)Experience in failure analysis/Root-Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigationsThis position requires you to have an active government security clearance.
