RF Engineer Principal

Job DescriptionJob Summary:Mercury Systems is seeking the best and brightest talent to help us bring cutting edge technology to mission critical aerospace and defense applications, advancing innovation where it matters most.The Engineering team is looking for a Principal RF Engineer who will provide hands-on technical leadership to a team developing advanced RF Systems for exciting defense applications.You will have the opportunity to demonstrate technical acumen with technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.Job Responsibilities:Responsible for the detailed design of RF circuits, modules, and subsystems.Provide technical inputs to program plans and proposalsResolve complex technical issues for product manufacturing and testFoster skill development for less experience d engineersCollaborate and effectively communicate while acting as the technical lead for development programs and production productsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Typically requires 7 years of experience in High Reliability, Aerospace, or Defense Electronics product development and manufacturing.Experience providing technical leadership to an integrated product development team.Extensive experience in testing / troubleshooting RF/Microwave, analog, digital, and mixed signal circuits.Expertise using RF simulation software (Microwave Office, AWR, ADS, HFSS).Experience transferring new designs to production.Familiarity with RF and antenna theory.Travel up to 10%.Active Security Clearance required on day 1.Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.Experience with design and test of phased arrays.Experience with antenna test ranges.Experience using data analysis tools such as MATLAB.Experience in failure analysis / Root-Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations.#LI-RL1This position requires you to have an active government security clearance.
