Associate Director , Medical Information (Oncology)

Associate Director overseeing medical review of oncology promotional materials throughout the product lifecycle at a biotechnology company. The role ensures materials meet FDA requirements and clinical standards while coordinating with cross-functional teams including Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Regulatory.

Responsibilities

• Review promotional materials including disease education, product materials, congress booth displays, and payer communications for medical accuracy and fair balance
• Conduct consistent-with-labeling and scientific information for unapproved use analyses with appropriate statistical assessment
• Provide medical guidance in cross-functional review meetings and concept development to resolve scientific questions
• Maintain current knowledge of oncology indications, treatment guidelines, clinical data, and competitor activity
• Support launch readiness execution and serve as preceptor to fellows and junior team members

Requirements

• Advanced degree: PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience in oncology
• Direct experience reviewing promotional or medical-legal-regulatory materials for oncology products
• Familiarity with Veeva PromoMats and product/indication launch support
• Working knowledge of FDA promotion and scientific communication requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication with ability to manage multiple projects
• Experience reviewing payer, health-economic, or real-world evidence communications

Compensation: $157,600–$236,400 base
