Associate Director, US Medical Learning, Oncology

Bristol Myers Squibb

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks an Associate Director to lead US medical learning strategy for oncology, developing educational programs and training solutions for field medical and home office teams. This home-based role involves designing learning plans, overseeing program evaluation, and ensuring healthcare providers have knowledge to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute annual medical learning plans aligned with US oncology portfolio priorities and stakeholder needs
Oversee needs assessments, program evaluations, and quarterly updates to ensure training remains current
Guide design and deployment of therapeutic area education for field and home office teams
Manage training delivery for scientific data releases and major congress presentations
Lead, develop, and retain high-performing learning team with clear priorities and resource allocation

Requirements

Leadership experience managing learning teams and talent development
Knowledge of pharmaceutical field medical operations and compliance requirements
Strategic planning and cross-functional stakeholder management skills
Program evaluation and needs assessment experience
Experience with clinical trial engagement or medical affairs functions
Demonstrated ability to navigate complex matrix organizations
