Associate Director, WW Medical Learning, Oncology

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks an Associate Director to develop and execute the scientific learning strategy for oncology field and home office medical teams across worldwide and international markets. This strategic leadership role involves designing multi-year capability-building plans, establishing launch readiness frameworks, and building partnerships across global medical and commercial functions.
Responsibilities
- Own multi-year scientific learning strategy for oncology, aligning medical capabilities with business priorities
- Define launch readiness frameworks and governance standards for field and home office teams globally
- Architect approaches to scientific data education at medical congresses and post-launch contextualization
- Build and govern cross-functional partnerships across medical affairs, learning centers, and international enablement teams
- Develop annual training plans based on needs assessments; evaluate program quality and learning outcomes
Requirements
- Strategic leadership experience in medical education or pharmaceutical training program development
- Demonstrated ability to build cross-functional partnerships and govern senior-level relationships
- Experience translating clinical and commercial priorities into comprehensive learning roadmaps
- Knowledge of oncology medicines, clinical trial support, and medical congress dynamics
- Expertise in training effectiveness measurement and adult learning methodologies
- Experience with innovation in learning technologies and educational modalities
