Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse array of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and security throughout procedures, clearly articulating each process with empathy
• Work closely with radiologists and referring practitioners to deliver top-notch diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging apparatus, addressing any technical issues swiftly
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records within our electronic medical system
• Remain updated on the latest advances in ultrasound imaging practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or an equivalent field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a similar entity
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Essential Skills

• Proven technical ability in sonographic imaging methods and patient positioning
• Superb communication and interpersonal abilities
• Capability to operate independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
