As the new school year approaches, an exciting opportunity has opened for a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students for the upcoming academic year. This part-time position offers 20 hours per week (0.5 FTE) and will primarily serve an elementary setting, focusing on fostering communication skills in young learners.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
• Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in children

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to elementary students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
• Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
