Make a meaningful impact as a dedicated audiology professional supporting students across a cluster of school campuses near Universal City, TX. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a diverse group of PreK–12 students, overseeing audiological services and collaborating with a supportive team. Based primarily at Mission Academy, you’ll also play a key role in providing itinerant support throughout the district, ensuring all students have equitable access to quality hearing care.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Audiology
• ASHA certification (or eligible for state-granted waiver)
• Active state licensure to practice audiology and fit/repair hearing aids
• Successful completion of the required licensure exam
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in school settings or equivalent environments
• Comfortable passing all required fingerprinting and background checks

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive audiological assessments and services for students in grades PK-12
• Collaborate closely with Maribel Tamez (DHH Coordinator) and itinerant teachers to schedule and deliver services
• Support about 50 students across the district—with a rotating caseload each week
• Conduct evaluations and troubleshooting at Mission Academy, with occasional visits to other campuses and high schools as needed
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with all state and district requirements
• Engage empathetically with students, families, and educational staff to optimize hearing outcomes

This is a 32-hour per week contract opportunity, available for immediate start through late May 2027. The on-site nature of this role allows you to build meaningful connections and see the direct impact of your expertise in educational settings.
