Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations to determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans addressing a variety of orthopedic conditions, including pre and post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain management, and mild neurological issues.
• Utilize both aquatic and land-based therapeutic modalities to promote recovery and enhance physical function.
• Monitor and document patients' progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, preventive care strategies, and home exercise programs to encourage active participation in their recovery.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal recovery pathways.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to continuously enhance professional development and share best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will concentrate on a diverse patient population, including athletes recovering from sports-related injuries, individuals undergoing orthopedic surgeries such as joint replacements, and those suffering from chronic pain conditions. Your work will significantly impact patients' quality of life by guiding them through rehabilitation and empowering them to regain their mobility and strength.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients and the healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits
