Job Description

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and design personalized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Apply evidence-based techniques to improve motor skills, cognitive functions, and everyday living activities for your patients
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside other OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to ensure comprehensive, patient-centric care
• Guide Patients and Caregivers: Provide education to patients and their families about therapeutic techniques to promote ongoing success at home
• Assess Progress and Document Outcomes: Monitor patient development and modify treatment plans as needed to keep them on track for recovery

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Encouragement and support for ongoing education and specialty certifications

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification essential

Skills
