Job Responsibilities

• Personalized Treatment Development: Assess patients' needs and craft tailored therapy plans to help them achieve their functional goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Strategies: Employ evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living activities.
• Collaborative Care: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide comprehensive and holistic patient care.
• Patient and Caregiver Instruction: Educate patients and their families on effective therapy techniques that promote continued progress post-therapy.
• Progress Monitoring and Documentation: Keep track of clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients meet their goals.

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution.
• Continuing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and will be supported.

Licensing and Certifications

• Current & active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
