MCHC is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented LVN to support our dedicated care team. As an LVN at MCHC, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality healthcare to our community by providing nursing support, coordinating care, and promoting a positive patient experience.

What You'll Do

Support providers and care teams in a fast-paced, team-based environment
Prepare and participate in daily team huddles and trainings
Administer medications and vaccines in accordance with provider orders and within the Licensed Vocational Nurse scope of practice
Accurately document patient information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
Educate patients as directed by the provider
Refill routine medication according to established protocol and under the direction of a licensed healthcare provider
Perform therapeutic blood withdrawal and IV therapy if certified
Maintain infection control practices and OSHA standards

Requirements

Valid State of California Certificate of Registration as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
Satisfactory completion of a prescribed course of instruction in intravenous therapy, approved by California State Board of Vocational Nurse and Psychiatric Technician Examiners.
Current BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working as an LVN, in an outpatient setting.

$32.60 - $44.00 per hour, DOE
